Core Architecture of WireGuard
Qifei Accelerator has built a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard achieves complete accelerator functionality with only about 4000 lines of code, while traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. This streamlined approach means a smaller attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal tests, WireGuard's handshake speed is three times faster than IKEv2 and eight times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Qifei Accelerator's WireGuard implementation utilizes the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, employing Curve25519 for ECDH key agreement, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing. This combination of cryptographic primitives has been widely validated by academia and industry, offering forward-looking security against quantum computing attacks.
Smart Protocol Switching
In certain network environments, WireGuard's UDP traffic may be restricted.
